Irrel Waterfalls

Rapids of the Prüm with spectacular suspension bridge.

Between mighty rock formations, the Prüm rushes through a narrow gorge at Irrel — the 'waterfalls' are actually wild rapids, spanned since 2021 by a sweeping suspension bridge that shows the natural spectacle from above.

Access is short and family-friendly, and crossing the bridge is free. If you want more: from here, hiking trails lead upriver to the Teufelsschlucht — one of the finest half-day walks in the southern Eifel.
