Sauer Valley Cycle Route
Flat river cycle route along the German-Luxembourg border.
Always along the Sauer, alternating between the German and Luxembourgish side: the Sauertal cycle route connects the Eifel with the Moselle — flat, largely traffic-free and with bridges that invite you to switch sides.
From Bollendorf and Echternacherbrück you cycle downstream via Rosport to the confluence at Wasserbillig; there the route meets the Moselle cycle route towards Trier. Refreshment stops are dotted along the route like pearls on a string.
