Between Bollendorf and Echternacherbrück lies the Rococo castle Weilerbach — built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the abbots of Echternach, featuring a French garden and a striking iron foundry next door, which once cast furnaces for half of Europe.
Today the ensemble is a tranquil cultural venue with changing exhibitions; the park is freely accessible. Right on the Sauertal cycling route — ideal for a cultural break between two stages.
