One of Germany's great Riesling steep-slope vineyards — directly above our new location.
The Altenberg rises as a steep slate wall directly above Kanzem — a "Grand Cru" of the VDP and for generations the source of some of Germany's finest Rieslings: mineral, long-lived, unmistakable.
Walking trails lead through the vineyards upwards, and at the top you are rewarded with views over the Saar valley. Afterwards, it's well worth stopping at the local wine producers — their wines are featured on the wine lists of top international restaurants. Our new apartments are within sight of the vineyard.
