Saar Cycle Route
River cycle route through the wine valley — from Konz via Kanzem and Saarburg towards Mettlach.
The Saar Cycle Path follows the river from its confluence at Konz through the wine valley to Saarburg and further towards Saarschleife — flat, well-developed and with constantly changing scenery of steep slopes, towpaths and locks.
From Kanzem you'll reach Saarburg in just under half an hour; keen cyclists continue on to Mettlach and take the train back. Along the way, traditional wine taverns tempt you right beside the route.
