The Saar between Konz and Serrig is arguably Germany's most underrated wine region: Rieslings of world-class reputation grow on its slate slopes — the vineyards around Kanzem, Wiltingen and Ayl feature on the maps of the best sommeliers.
Right in the heart of it all: Kanzem, a wine village at the foot of the famous Altenberg. Our new apartments are currently being created here — in the oldest building in the village, a listed heritage former winery that we are carefully and thoroughly renovating. Saarburg with its waterfall in the heart of the town and the impressive Saar loop near Mettlach are just around the corner.
