Over 2,000 years of history at every turn: Trier is Germany's oldest city, and nowhere else north of the Alps are there so many Roman architectural monuments — from the Porta Nigra to the Imperial Baths and the amphitheatre, all UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Between old town alleyways, the Mosel riverside and vineyards lies our home: Our apartments in and around Trier combine urban life with a quick escape to nature — cappuccino at the Hauptmarkt in the morning, a cycling tour along the Mosel in the afternoon, Riesling at the vineyard in the evening.
